Tucson Real Estate Selling Do’s & Dont’s # 301 Vegetation
November 28th, 2007 Categories: Real Estate News, Selling Tucson Properties, Tucson Real Estate
In the current Tucson buyers market there are many Do’s
that will get your home sold and some Dont’s that could cause problems. There will be many articles to follow, but first we will start with curb appeal… You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
When getting ready to sell we should look at:
1. Vegetation
2. Sidewalks and walkways
3. Structure cosmetics
4. Roof
One of the first items is the yard, or in most cases, the rocks. Do make sure there are no weeds and that the plants are healthy will make a good impression. Honestly most buyers will not notice a nice weed free yard, they will notice a yard that has weeds as tall as their 10 year old.
Once the yard is cleared of debris, Don’t add personal items, examples would be extremely colorful pots, statues, or items related to any specific religion. Do leave everything as neutral as possible. We live in a country that houses people from every corner of the globe. If you want your Tucson home to sell, it needs to look and feel inviting to as many buyers as possible.
After the yard, things can get a bit more difficult. Next time we will talk about sidewalks and walkways. They can point to serious issues that require much more attention.
