The Tucson Real Estate Renovation Crack Down

It is no surprise that the Tucson Real Estate Market has been
in a “re-building year” I like to have “pun” with my articles. Okay, seriously…
Pima County is making a few changes and taking the time to look into renovations completed by Tucson Home & Business Owners. The reason is two fold.
One: Make sure that everything is safe
Two: Generate revenue for the county Development Services Department
How do you know if you are going to be on the radar?
Simple, If you own Tucson Real Estate and you had a permit issued for a project that would cost over $1,000 dollars to improve your business or home, the Development Services Department will be looking for you.
If you are looking to buy recently renovated commercial or residential property, Tucson Real Estate will be a safer investment due to this enforcement.
If you are a seller and you dodged the bullet, don’t be upset. Having your renovations permitted will help you greatly when it is time to sell.
